WPlend respects intellectual-property rights and reviews sufficiently detailed notices under applicable law. GPL status does not eliminate copyright, trademark, or rights in non-GPL assets. We do not make blanket claims that no hosted material can be protected by copyright.
Infringement notice
Send a notice through Contact Us. Include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work or representative list;
- the exact WPlend URL for each allegedly infringing item;
- your name, address, telephone number, and email;
- a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, agent, or law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
Knowingly material misrepresentations may create liability. WPlend may request clarification, restrict access during review, notify the affected supplier or user, and preserve required records.
Counter-notice
If content was restricted by mistake or misidentification, a counter-notice may be sent to the same agent with identification of the removed material and prior location, contact details, consent to the jurisdiction required by applicable law, acceptance of service from the complainant, a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury, and signature. Restoration timing follows applicable law.
Repeat infringement and other rights
Where appropriate, WPlend may terminate repeat infringers. Trademark, privacy, or other legal complaints should identify the right, exact URL, factual basis, requested action, and complainant contact details.
